Steve O'Connor
Steve has been helping disruptive ideas become great businesses for more than 20 years, and is currently CEO of Flick Electric Co, a disruptive electricity retail business he co-founded in 2013. Entrepreneurism runs in O’Connor’s veins. As well as overseeing some of Wellington’s most recent start-up successes in his five-years as Chief Executive of Creative HQ, O’Connor also co-founded market intelligence company Marketview, and was a shareholder in and Managing Director of Datamine. He has also held senior strategy, innovation, marketing and product management positions at Meridian Energy, Arc Innovations and NTL Plc in London (now Virgin Media).
