Andrew Booth is the CEO of solarcity, New Zealand’s leading solar energy services company. solarcity is in business for a purpose, to make a big difference in the fight against climate change and to help New Zealand move to 100% renewable energy by making solar affordable for Kiwi homeowners. In 2017 Andrew was named Industry Person of the Year by Sustainable Energy Association New Zealand (SEANZ) for his commitment to Kiwis wanting energy independence. Andrew has extensive campaign and media experience. He cut his teeth as a campaigner with Greenpeace and later served as an international board director for the environmental organisation. In 1992 he founded World Television and established it as Europe's largest internet TV communication group. With Reuters and CNN he launched the world's first international news feed on the environment and floated the company on the London Stock Exchange.
