Diana Montano

Diana Montano is a young Biotechnology Engineer, passionate about applying science, technology and knowledge to promote effectively for society to live in a sustainable way and to avoid depleting the environment. She has experience working for industries mainly in the technology commercialization process. She also did research in high-learning Canadian institutions such as The Polytechnique Montréal and The Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières in the field of bioremediation, waste-water treatment and biofuels production. Her enthusiasm about sustainability has led her to enroll as a volunteer in environmental and social projects in Mexico, Haiti and Kenya. She is an innovative thinker with the strong conviction that knowledge sharing and collaboration are the paths to advance and speed-up the much needed transition towards a sustainable and environmental-friendly world.
