Allen Cookson spent most of his life teaching science at secondary school level. After retirement he completed a B.App. Econ. degree. He is author of Prosperity, Poverty or Extinction? Humanity’s Choices. The book, which has earned praise internationally, links economics, science and other disciplines in a quest for solutions to humanity’s ecological quandaries.
